Volunteers and Training
Volunteering your time at The
Healing
For Grieving Children could be one of the
most rewarding things you do. As one
volunteer said “my time here is so rewarding, it is much better than I ever imagined”.
Helping children express their feelings
with words and play gives volunteers a real sense that they have truly contributed
to a child’s healing. We offer 30 hours
of training. The training is offered
during 4 Saturdays. Please call (916) 791-8414 for more information on being
a volunteer. We also need volunteers
to assist with occasional fundraising events.
The following training outline will give you an idea of what you will learn
at training. All volunteers must have
a criminal record check.

for facilitating.
